Our Story

Owner Lenea Green began her career as a Floral Designer on her dining room table 25+ years ago when her son was a toddler, and is now running two offices that manage over 500 weddings per year.

Growing up, Lenea’s father George was a landscape designer, so she was always surrounded by flowers and greenery which peaked her interest in all things floral. It’s almost like it was her destiny since she was named after a flower!

When her great - great grandmother was born in the family home in Sweden, they were deciding on a middle name for the new baby. The midwife looked outside the window and saw the flower ‘Linnaea’ and said “she is as beautiful as the Linnaea’s!” The name was passed on for generations and now modernized to the spelling ‘Lenea.’ The tradition continues with Lenea’s daughter Julia, whose middle name is Lenea as well - and Julia happens to be our lead floral designer at our Wading River office!

Her love for flowers and desire to work in a creative industry has now made her one of the most trusted Wedding and Event Florists on Long Island. Lenea and her staff get to know each and every couple, creating and executing their floral vision and taking pride in forming long lasting relationships with our couples for years to come.
