Julia & Jimmy | Estate at East Wind
Some weddings feel especially meaningful—not just because of the beauty of the day, but because of the story behind it. Julia and Jimmy’s May 30th wedding at Estate at East Wind was one of those incredibly special celebrations for our team.
Julia is the daughter of Lenea, the owner of With All My Heart Floral Design Studio, making this wedding a true full-circle moment for Lenea and the entire team. After years of creating beautiful celebrations for our couples, getting to design a wedding so close to home was an incredibly special experience.
Every detail of the day felt personal, intentional, and completely Julia and Jimmy.
Floral Inspiration: A Messy English Garden
The inspiration for the wedding was what we lovingly called a “messy English garden.”
We wanted everything to feel lush, romantic, and a little bit undone—like stepping into an overgrown garden in full bloom. The floral design was filled with abundant greenery, garden-inspired blooms, soft movement, and an antique romantic sensibility that made the arrangements feel timeless rather than overly polished.
The goal was never for everything to match perfectly. Instead, each arrangement had its own personality while still feeling like part of the same garden-inspired story.
The Ceremony: A Garden in Full Bloom
The ceremony brought the English garden vision to life in a big way.
A full floral arch covered in blooms framed Julia and Jimmy as they exchanged their vows, creating a lush, romantic focal point. From there, meadow-style aisle arrangements stretched down the ceremony aisle, making the walk toward the altar feel as though guests were entering a garden in full bloom.
The aisle meadows were designed with movement and natural, gathered-in-a-garden feeling rather than a perfectly manicured look. Flowers spilled and moved organically, creating that beautifully imperfect quality that was so central to the overall design.
And because sustainability and thoughtful design are always important to us, the story didn't end when the ceremony did. After the vows, the aisle meadows were repurposed into the reception lounge, bringing the ceremony flowers back into the celebration and giving them a second life.
A Bouquet Made Together
Perhaps the most meaningful floral detail of the entire day was Julia’s bridal bouquet.
Creating her bouquet became a true mother-daughter moment for Julia and Lenea. The two collaborated together to create a bouquet that felt uniquely Julia while incorporating the same garden-inspired elements woven throughout the wedding.
The bouquet ultimately became a beautiful thread tying the entire floral story together, carrying the colors, textures, movement, and romantic garden feeling from the ceremony through the reception.
Reception: Six Centerpieces, One Garden
One of Julia and Jimmy’s favorite floral elements of the entire wedding was the reception design.
Rather than creating one or two repeated centerpiece styles, we designed six different centerpiece styles throughout the room. Each table offered something a little different—varying heights, textures, vessels, and floral moments, so guests could experience a new arrangement as they moved through the reception.
The result was intentionally eclectic and organic, creating the feeling that the entire reception had been transformed into a garden.
It was one of those design details that made the room feel immersive rather than simply decorated. Every table became its own little discovery while still contributing to the larger floral story.
The Lounge: An Inviting Alternative to the Traditional Dais
Another standout favorite was the lounge area. Instead of designing a traditional dais table, we created an inviting lounge space filled with vintage furniture and a towering 11ft tall statement tree. The idea was to make the space feel warm, intimate, and lived-in—a place where guests would actually want to gather.
The vintage pieces brought in that antique romantic feeling from the original inspiration, while the tree added an organic, garden-like element and became a beautiful focal point within the reception.
The repurposed ceremony meadows were incorporated into this space, allowing the flowers that lined the aisle earlier in the day to become part of the reception experience.
It was a perfect example of Julia and Jimmy choosing something that felt more personal and inviting over something simply traditional.
Invitations: A Labor of Love
Some of the most meaningful details of the wedding began long before guests arrived at Estate at East Wind.
Julia’s invitations were truly a labor of love, handmade by our team and the bride herself. Every piece was carefully assembled, with delicate lace and buttons sewn onto the invitations by hand.
The handmade details perfectly reflected the feeling of the wedding itself—romantic, nostalgic, personal, and intentionally imperfect.
It was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the smallest details carry the most meaning.
A Full-Circle Celebration
Designing Julia and Jimmy’s wedding was incredibly special for all of us at With All My Heart.
For Lenea, watching her daughter get married and being able to bring Julia’s vision to life was a true full-circle moment. For our team, it was an opportunity to create something deeply personal for someone who has been part of the With All My Heart family from the very beginning.
From creating Julia’s bouquet together, to building a blooming ceremony arch and aisle meadows, to transforming those meadows into the reception lounge, every floral decision was thoughtfully connected.
The six unique reception centerpieces, vintage lounge and statement tree, handmade invitations, and garden-inspired florals all came together to create a wedding that felt romantic without feeling overly formal, lush without feeling too perfect, and personal in every possible way.
Most importantly, it was a celebration created with love by a family and a team who have spent years creating beautiful moments for others—and finally had the chance to create one of their most meaningful celebrations together.
